Grade 10 Planetarium

On Saturday the 23rd of July the Vision AfriKa Grade 10’s went on an outing to Cape Town. We left early morning on the Metro Rail with the mission of learning about the starry night skies. After an hour of rail time we walked from Cape Town Station to the Planetarium. As the sun set and the African night sky rose about their heads a myriad of lights shone overhead to display what can only be described as the perfect night sky. After an amazing show the group moved into the Iziko Museum to be bewildered by the array of aquatic, bird, reptile and mammal replicas of the African Continent. The day was a roaring success and we left with a wealth of knowledge.
